The Roane State Community College Arts and Lectures Committee has organized “Maria Callas 101,” a musical concert featuring soprano Amanda Peavyhouse of the RSCC Music Department alongside pianist Christy Lee.

The event will take place on November 8, 2024, at the historic Princess Theatre in Harriman.

This performance will pay tribute to the life and career of soprano Maria Callas, one of the greatest opera singers of all time.

The concert starts at 7 p.m. ET and is free to the public. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. ET. Everyone is invited to join us in celebrating the beautiful music and fascinating life of one of opera’s most iconic voices.

The Princess Theatre is located at 421 North Roane Street in Harriman. The theatre is operated by Roane State, hosting family-friendly events throughout the year.

Additional information about the theatre and upcoming events is available online at princessharriman.org.
